Unseen

Get close to the target. Complete the challenges. Whatever happens, stay unseen.

Four hosts are divided into two competing teams. In each episode, one team follows an unsuspecting celebrity target and attempts three increasingly daring challenges without being recognised. Throughout the episode, the target watches the footage and reacts alongside the viewers during the thrilling confrontation. Those reactions are woven into the story as the challenges unfold.

Unseen premiered on Ketnet and VRT MAX in Belgium in 2025. Following a Best Non Fiction nomination for its first season, the format returned for a second season in 2026. That same year, Unseen made its international debut with a Dutch adaptation produced by BNNVARA for NPO Zapp.

How it works

Three challenges.
One unsuspecting target.

Each challenge brings the team closer to the celebrity and raises the risk of being recognised. The scoring keeps every challenge clear, while the target’s reactions to the footage are woven throughout the episode.

    Take the challenge

    In each episode, one team is assigned a celebrity target and must complete three increasingly daring challenges without being recognised.

  2. 02

    Stay unseen

    Complete a challenge and earn one point. If the target spots the team, it loses two points. In each episode, the team can earn a boost that can double its points for that episode.

  3. 03

    Watch the target react

    Throughout the episode, the target watches the hidden camera footage and reacts alongside the viewers during the thrilling confrontation, giving the audience an ongoing perspective on what the target thinks and feels.

Two seasons + one special
The original Flemish version premiered on Ketnet and VRT MAX in 2025. The format returned for a second season on October 31, 2026, with a new mix of teams, celebrity targets and challenges.
The format also expands with Ongezien: The Revenge, a special in which former celebrity targets turn the tables and secretly take on the hosts who once followed them.
The Netherlands · NPO Zapp
First international adaptation
Produced by BNNVARA for NPO Zapp, the first international adaptation launched in September 2026, making Unseen the first NoStrezz format to cross borders.
