Strictly necessary storage

This browser storage is used only to remember choices you make on the website:

  • Your cookie choice — remembers whether you accepted or refused optional analytics for 180 days, so we do not ask you on every visit.
  • Your newsletter prompt choice — keeps the newsletter prompt away for 7 days after you close it. After a successful subscription, it is remembered for longer so you are not repeatedly asked to subscribe again.

This information stays in your browser and does not contain your name or email address. You can remove it through your browser settings, although the related question may then appear again.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we load Google Analytics and Hotjar to understand visits, navigation and usability so we can improve the website. They may receive page and interaction data, approximate location derived from IP address, and device or browser information. We do not load either service before you choose “Accept analytics”.

Google Analytics

  • Recognizes whether the same browser returns to the website. This information can remain for up to 2 years.
  • Keeps related page visits together as one visit or session. This information can remain for up to 2 years.

Hotjar

  • Uses a random, pseudonymous browser identifier to understand repeat visits to this website. It can remain for up to 365 days.
  • Groups interactions during one browsing session. It normally expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • Uses short-lived checks to see whether cookies and browser storage work correctly. These disappear after the check or browser session.

Your choice

You can accept or refuse optional analytics with equal ease. Refusing does not limit access to the website. Your choice is stored for 180 days. You can change or withdraw it at any time using “Manage cookies” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics but does not affect processing that took place while your prior consent was valid. You can also delete existing analytics cookies through your browser settings.
